Made with sustainable cork.
The Aura was created with comfort in mind. Our most cushioned yoga mat provides added support for your joints. We developed a fine grain cork surface for a soft feel, yet with no sacrifice on grip which increases with moisture. Never worry about slipping again. Care is easy with a naturally antimicrobial surface eliminating bacteria, and a closed cell foam bottom that won’t absorb moisture or smells. The Aura will completely change your perspective on how a yoga mat can be so light, yet ultra durable and high performing.
Use: For practices with very heavy perspiration (where sweat “pools” on your mat) we recommend our Unity or Original Yoga Mats.

Thank mother nature for making cork! Cork is the outer bark of the Cork Oak Tree which grows in the Mediterranean area. These cork oak forests support one of the world’s highest levels of forest biodiversity. Trees are not cut down to harvest cork, rather, the bark is harvested every 9 years. Cork oak trees can live up to 300 years. Harvesting cork is performed completely by hand and provides over 100,000 fair wage jobs. Learn More
Lightly spray with Yoloha mat cleaner or natural cleaner after use and lay flat to dry.
Grip Tip: Cork increases grip when wet. Use our grip spray or sprinkle water on your mat where your hands and feet go before practice for extra traction.
Use: For practices with very heavy perspiration (where sweat “pools” on your mat) we recommend our Native or Original Yoga Mats.

Very light - I thought the cork would be heavier but it really isn't! The Aura Mat is mostly foam and less cork when compared to other mats. Note that cork without rubber is somewhat slippery if you DONT wet it, so make sure you use a spray bottle before using. This doesn't curl up tightly and takes up more space (about double the diameter) than a standard yoga mat, and I have to use a yoga mat strap to keep it rolled up. Because of that though, it lays flat pretty much every time. I really love this mat and feel like my wrists have hurt much less than when I was using my older yoga mat.
Not only is this mat perfectly cushioned (not too much, not too little)—it provides excellent grip. I always had to use a towel before to stay from sliding off the mat. Lastly, I did not think I could find an eco- friendly, latex free mat. I have a severe latex allergy, and Yoloha is quite literally a lifesaver.
I originally had my eye on the Air Cork mat, but after doing the sampler pack, I landed on the Aura and I’m glad I did! The cushion is perfect for my bony knees in pigeon. I was hesitant about the thicker cushion having an impact on my balance, but it’s made no difference! The mat has great grip and has held up well in my HIIT classes as well. I've used this for about a month and looking forward to using it for years to come. I’m so happy with this purchase and stoked to support such an awesome company!
I've only used the mat for a week, and so far so good. No issues with grip, and it is comfortable with out being too soft like other thick mats where it just squishes and indents under your weight. The cork distributes the weight better and leaves me and my joints feeling supported. Kind of like if you like a firm vs soft mattress, as I do. The mat also doesn't slip when moving about on it, so I don't worry about losing balance from that during longer held postures. It is kind of pilly and has a bit of a smell, which is my only reason for not giving it all the stars, and even with cleaning it does this microshedding a lot, leaving the towel I wipe it down with full of tiny bits of cork. Hopefully that will decrease with use/time.
