Have used it 3 times and end up laying in a puddle of sweat. Really doesn’t absorb as well as I thought it would and rethinking my choice as far as getting the pro as it may have thicker cork.

I absolutely love this mat. I've practiced indoors and outdoors several times and can say with confidence that this has the kind of grip that I am personally looking for. That said, I would not use it for an outdoors class under direct sunlight. Like they say, keep the mat out of direct sunlight for extended periods and of time. They are right. My feet were BURNING! Scorching! It made for an uncomfortable vinyasa at the outdoor festival I went to. In studio and under some clouds or a drizzle? PERFECT
I ordered this mat as a replacement for the one I purchased a while ago. It is light and and very comfortable for the knees and hands, however when it gets dirty, there will be a clear indicator of the "dirt" showing where the feet and hands are and its not coming off with water. Also after a while the cork start peeling off - I used it one time/week and when the cork came off I reached out to CS to ask how can I fix it. I was told I need a new one. The idea of sustainable means more than just having something that is non toxic, but also something that lasts more than 3 years at one use/week. I am a yoga teacher and wanted to use this brand in the studio so I encourage the students to invest in something clean and sustainable, but since the mat does not last that long....the price is too high to pay. It is a clean and comfortable product, but with very limited life.
I didnt mean to purchase, got click happy so i wasgoing to return everything until i saw how light and beautiful everything was.... so now i have to explain why i have ANOTHER yogo mat
I was skeptical about a cork mat, but I am SO grateful I took the leap of faith. I tried the aura mat first and didn't like the thick cushioning. This one was PERFECT. And when I found out about how sustainably made they are the positive impact they have the one ecosystem, it made me all the more happy with my purchase. I cannot recommend these mats enough. The only thing I don't like is that it's a little annoying to roll up. Gotta be gentle so it doesn't crack and can't be rolled too tightly. But those are so small in comparison so the joy it brings to my life. I will buy these mats for life.
