Mountain Magic Unity Pro Cork Yoga Mat

I had the original Unity mat a couple of years ago. It had almost a faint sandpaper/rough feel - which I liked, but it lost grip after about a year. I learned (after I tossed it) that I should have been doing deeper cleanings. This time, I decided to try the new Unity Pro mat and have to say I absolutely love it! It has great grip and is super comfy (padding) plus it doesn't have that gravely feel of the original Unity. Even though I actually did like the original Unity - I now prefer this new one! I'll be doing the recommended cleanings this time to be able to keep it longer.

My primary practice is Heated Vinyasa and I sweat mad crazy. Was using a cheap mat and yoga towel to manage the slippage but having to constantly manage and make sure my towel was clean for the next practice and blah blah blah became a hassle. Took the plunge on a sale and I’m glad I did. I was afraid that I would actually slip based off initial feel. Fortunately, the mat gets grippier the more sweat gets on there and in have not slipped once. For the folks that are dripping wet from sweat this is the mat for you. Extra large size is a plus for me as a male. Would 100% buy again at full price!

I am a repeat customer and this is my least favorite mat. The grip is great but I also think it is too grippy. I found it difficult to transition from posture to posture. I had to lift my feet to do so. It is however a great workout mat just not a great yoga mat for a hot studio.

Absolutely loving this Unity mat and the added thickness. I previously had the Aura which was fantastic - it held up for many years and dare I say I used it for everything - yoga, TRX suspension work, kettlebells....this mat took a beating and was wonderful. The unity is clearly even tougher, heavier, thicker, and the pattern is amazing. I absolutely LOVE the earthy cork scent as well..I wish this would never go away! THANK YOU!!

As much as I wanted to love this mat, I didn’t. I used it once and the grip was great but the bamboo was too hard. It wasn’t comfortable on my hands, knees, or feet. I wanted to keep it longer and see if I could “break it in” but was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to return it if used more.

I used my mat for hot yoga and it was very grippy and provided great cushion for my knees. I ordered the longer mat, and loved having the extra space. I highly recommend!!!

Love the xl size, the cork feels nice. Definitely needs to dry out well after use compared to standard mats.

It's the first matt I've use that does slip right from first use. The most solid Down dogs i have been in. Thank you for getting a green option in the 30 " wide i been waiting for years for this to happen and it was well worth the wait! So far this has been the best matt I've owned.
