I will start by saying I have loved transitioning to a cork mat! My grip has improved and I love the aesthetic. I also really love how padded this cork mat is compared to others and is very comfortable on my knees and for headstands. My one issue is that it is already starting to… come apart? I use my yoga mat 3x/week (minimum) and am diligent about cleaning, but the cork is already falling off in one section and I have only had this mat since September 2023 (less than a year). I do question its long term sustainability because of this - I used my lululemon mat for over 3 years before I had to get a new one due to wear and tear.
I received my mat about two weeks ago and I just love it. The cork is both grippy and gives me a more form footing than my previous mat. Love the design and the colors too.

I have tried multiple mats before and I would always have an issue with slippery hands and/or feet but this mat is great! No slips at all! It is so refreshing to go into a class a know that my mat isn’t going to interfere with my practice. Not only does it not interfere though, I feel like it enhances my practice. I love unrolling my mat; the materials, the quality, and the cork are so nice! I am so happy I spent the extra money on something that makes me so happy and makes my practice that much more enjoyable. I would definitely purchase this again.
