Lauren is a Diabetic Health Coach and yoga instructor from New York. For the past 15 years she has been living with Type 1 Diabetes and believes that no matter what your challenge in life is, taking control of it starts from the inside with a healthy mind and body. Lauren first discovered yoga while she was playing division 1 soccer in college and has been hooked ever since. What started out as a nice "stretch" for her muscles, soon became a way of life. Lauren is passionate about using yoga to cultivate acceptance, gratitude, and balance in her life. She loves getting inverted and challenging herself in her physical practice, but also makes time to ground down with lots of yin yoga.
