I fell in love with the practice of yoga four years ago in my college apartment. I needed something more in my life and stumbled upon a free yoga class one day and instantly was hooked. At the time, handstands and inversions were my goals. I was fascinated by them and started practicing every single day. I wasn’t really aware that my “obsession” and consistent practice was also really helping my mental health at the time and provided me with a lot of necessary healing. Most of my practice was self taught or from online videos up until a couple years ago when I went to a local studio after moving. I loved everything about the space and the people and ended up taking my 200YTT there. I am not even a full year into teaching now and absolutely love being able to teach and share this amazing practice with others, while also continuing to learn and be a student myself.
Yoga is something that I am very passionate about and I love that I can carry it with me wherever I am. Even when I am traveling, I always make time to either roll out my mat or just take a few minutes of breath. There is always more to learn and improve on and I truly believe that I will be continuing to grow and change in my practice for my whole life.
