The idea of yoga had been in the background of Deb’s mind for as long as she could remember, but it would be many years before she actually came to her mat. As it turned out, 2005 would be the year she first began her yoga journey. While she had always been physically active in various sports and dance, initially, yoga was simply another form of physical activity. Her interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle has evolved over the years and she has had many different roles throughout her adult life. Deb had no idea just how yoga would change her life, and never did she believe she would someday guide yoga practitioners through their own practice. She has come to relish this role. Deb believes in the importance of sustaining a consistent personal yoga practice which encompasses all aspects; body, mind, and spirit. In her class, one finds acceptance and encouragement through a light-hearted, yet grounding practice.
Deb is certified through Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200/RYT 500, YACEP and also holds a certification to teach Yin yoga. She loves that the practice of yoga is accessible to everyone and anyone, and that advancement is always possible with a consistent practice and patience. Yoga meets us where we are each and every day. Deb is fortunate to live in central Colorado and considers herself to be a student of life. She is grateful to spend time with her husband and their blended family of 5 grown children, and 5 energetic grandchildren.
