Unity Cork Yoga Mat

The mat gets more grippy as it gets wet. The mat give your confidence in your positions with the grip regardless of how wet the mat is. And I get it wet with zero towel. And it’s perfect for a 6ft 2in 200lb man!

I love this mat so much, but I was rolling it wrong with the cork to the inside, like the picture shows in the marketing material. Well this is wrong and I’m glad I found it out early on.

i don't ever leave reviews on anything, but this mat, let me tell you, it's on a whole other level. i've never felt more grounded in my practice than when i'm on this mat. i've tried other mats and mat/towel combos, but they're way too slippery, fold up on you, or don't provide enough cushioning. this mat is truly all that you'll need.

Using a towel over my mat distracts me. The cork mat is the best

I just completed my 124th class since Jan 4, 2023. Hot yoga has been a part of my daily routine in 2023. I found that using a towel on my mat was very distracting and was searching for a cork one. My search is over! I have now used the Yoloha Unity mat for my last 7 classes and found my favorite… It is grippy and even grippier while you practice.

I've tried many mats before finding this one. I'm a heavy sweater and practice hot yoga exclusively.

My first mat was a reversible Lululemon mat. After 2 years of practice, I wanted something that would support me better. I was sliding more and more on my mat, especially in down dog.

I then tried a Manduka Pro mat. It was very thick and heavy. It also is slippery before breaking it in. I hear you can use salt to break down the top layer, but I returned it because it wasn't what I was looking for.

I then tried a Gaiam mat off Amazon that stated it had more grip the wetter it was. That was wrong. I returned that one too.

I then tried Alo's Warrior mat. I had the same issue with it as well. So I returned that one.

I wanted to try something vastly different than those and my yoga teacher said he used to love his cork mat before he taught hot yoga, but now it's falling apart in the hot heat and excess sweat. I still looked for a cork mat online and found the Unity mat. It caught my eye because it stated that it was a cork/rubber mat made for hot yoga. I have used this mat for 10 practices now and it's awesome. I can always find a good grip on the mat, even as I'm sweating a lot. It's also really easy to clean and more lightweight than other plastic mats I've had. 1000% recommend to anyone. Even for non hot yoga. It has good cushion and is comfortable on my knees and on my back.
