I love my new Unity mat. I have a Nomad mat I bought myself a few years ago. LOVED it. But the Nomad is pretty thin. I've been casually shopping for a second Yoloha mat and was debating between the Original and the Unity. I decided on Unity and really splurged on a pretty designed one (Spirit Rising). It's really beautiful.
Like other buyers, the first week had a stronger rubber smell. It was only noticeable in child's pose. But I used the mat cleaner every day, and the smell is much better. The Unity is definitely heavier than the Nomad, so I'm not sure which one I'll take to classes (Once I had back into the studio...someday). Anyway, this is a good investment.
