When I first bought this, a lot of my friends asked how the cork felt and I can honestly say it's better than other more common mat materials I've tried. It's perfect if you sweat a lot or are planning on doing hot yoga - you will NOT slip at all. The extra padding is also great for people with more sensitive knees. I find myself not having to practice on carpet or use a towel for extra support. For fellow pedestrians - while I own the bigger version, I still find it easy to walk around with when I go to class.
The mat is very lightweight but supportive to practice on. Beautiful design too. Highly recommend . I practice heated power flow yoga .
This outshines manduka mats. Love that the cork is anti microbial and there’s no PVC’s, latex and plasticizers!!
Oh my goodness! I’m so in love with this Matt! The quality is amazing and it has made my practice so much better. I will never go back to a rubber Matt. I ordered the grip spray and it’s literally magic lol. The artistry on the Matt is so beautiful and I receive so many compliments. I sweat like CRAZY when working out. This mat absorbs it all, no towels needed. I can finally get through a 60-minute heated strength class without sliding all over the place. Worth the money!!
I did a lot of research on different yoga mats and different companies and really had a hard time making a decision because I wanted a good mat for Hot Yoga. I am so glad I went with the Yoloha Unity Mat. I absolutely love this mat. I did not slip and slide at all on this mat throughout the class. The grip was just as good at the beginning of the class before sweating as it was at the end of class when I was profusely sweating! I love that I do not need a towel so there is no bunching when moving my feet. I would definitely buy this again and I will absolutely recommend this mat to my friends.
Absolutely love my aura mat. The grip is so much better than my rubber mat. Definitely improves my practice. Stepping onto this mat also makes you feel more grounded .
Practicing vinyasa for 12 years. Purchased this mat for hot yoga. I get sweaty enough for a puddle on the mat and it still offers grip. Offers plenty of grip when dry. Won’t be going back to synthetic mats.
I knew this mat would be thin as it is a travel mat but the quality makes up for the thin padding! This mat feels so nice and is the perfect amount of grip and length. It folds nicely into a suitcase and doesn't crease. I'm super excited to use this at my retreat later this month!
I love my new Aura mat. The grip is great and the cushion from the plant foam protects my knees. It’s light weight. Not to mention how stable and grounding the natural cork feels. I can’t say enough good things about it.
I love the cork smell! Also best mat I've had for both cushioning and gripability. I used to use a blanket under my knees for kneeling, but I don't need one with this mat. No sliding, either. Solid investment.
