Alexandra came to yoga as a skeptic, simply looking for a fun class to try at her local gym. Then what started as only an interest in mastering poses quickly became a daily practice of asana, pranayama and meditation. Alexandra came to realize that opening the body through a yoga practice has profound effects on the mind and spirit no matter what you believe in. From the very beginning Alexandra discovered that when her body was practicing arm balances and inversions it required the mind to be extremely focused and that it was at these times she was most present and centered. This is what she aims to share with her students; she makes these seemingly complicated asanas accessible to even beginning practictioners, specializing in Armbalance and Inversion Classes and Workshops. Alexandra is happily married with two elementary aged daughters. In addition to her 200 RYT certification, she also loves working with kids and is a certified Grounded Kids Yoga Teacher (100 hour RCYT -Registered Childrens Yoga Teacher- through Yoga Alliance).
